ReplyDeleteWhen i close my eyes and think of the future, the first thing that comes to mind is me on a beach in tampa with some ladies from college, possibly working on a film. To get this image in my head it too all of about 2 seconds. I guess this would say that i'm excited to be down in florida for college, and being able to go to the beach every day... and i enjoy females. Im not really sure what this says about humans in general, maybe people think of their futures as being in a good place, hoping that the best is yet to come. I think a lot of people think the same and hope better things are coming but some people might think their future is going nowhere and get a not so good image in their head.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to mind when I close my eyes and think is me surfing through the air with my very own flying skateboard invention. It takes me about 2 to 3 seconds for this image to start appearing in my head. Personally, this image says alot about my motivation. The image serves as a dream that I wish to accomplish in the future. For humans in general, however, it may be also somewhat the same. Their image is their dream, and their dream is their motivation for keep on trying to reach it--either if they succeed it or not.

ReplyDeleteWhen I close my eyes and contemplate the future, The first thing I see is a zoomed up image of me, a wife, three children, living in a house in a somewhat rural area. I can picture that right away... but as time goes on I slowly zoom out, to see a desolate waste-land type setup, which may well reflect the fears of the human race. Though that last bit is not what I hope for, It does show something that is rather frightening. The length it takes me to think about this topic would indicate that I can relatively quickly see what I want, and I beleive that most people can quickly see what they want in the future. I'd say that fundamentally, most people are the same, though with small twists of unique stuff.
ReplyDeleteIn the future I see myself as a successful high school guidance counselor. It doesn't take me a long time to see this because I know that this is what I want to do in my life. I think this says that I am very prepared becausE I already know what I want to do with my life. I think that some people are the same, some people already know what they want to do with their lives at a young age.

ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to mind when I close my eyes is me in college studying to become a nurse. It didn't take very long at all for the image to appear, just a few seconds. I believe it appears so quickly because at this point in my life it is my main goal. Everything I'm doing now is in order to prepare me for college. I think that it might be the same for everybody, because everyone has their own goals they wish to achieve.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I see? Well, first it was a huge macedoine of darker, natural colors. Eventually I realize that it is an image that I equate to medieval times. I assume that this means that we are going to bomb the hell out of each other, and society has recessed. What does that say about me? I need not say anything. It's pretty obvious.
ReplyDeleteI can't generalize anything further but that people will probably have more extreme visions. I can't even begin to think about what others will think, however.
The first thing that comesto my mind are cars floating in the air and a vision of the jetsons. as soon as i thought about the future i could see the image. it didn't take long at all. this says that i believe that humans will progress in the area of technology. i think for humans this says that humans will get past global warming and all the other things holding society back.
ReplyDeletewhen i close my eyes, i can only imagine the near future. Things such as college, and careers and children and stuff are too far away (i'll cross that bring when i get there). Right now all i can see is myself actually filling out my college applications this weekend, and work.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to mind when I close my eyes and think about my future is being in college. It takes about three seconds for this to come to mind. This says that I want to be successful and reach my goals. I want higher education to become the better person that I can be. This says that humans think about their future goals in life. Future goals are usually positive. In this way people are the same. However, everyone is different in a way.
ReplyDeleteThinking ahead I see...lol...I am kind of hype about my future. I see myself with a happy life, a few kids, a beautiful honey, on top of the world and living in a beautiful home. The image that first comes to mind is me dressed in my beautiful uniform at basic training graduation. I see myself happy and away from home. It doesn’t take a lot of time to see the image but you have to think about it outside of school. My future is always in the back of my mind. Even when I’m not thinking of it, I’m thinking of it. I mean my future is important. This says that I think a lot. I try not to think about stuff too much because then my brain hurts…lol…just kidding. I think that most people always think about the future but many are unsure about what they will end up doing. Most people plan to do something that interest them but end up doing something they are later introduced to.
ReplyDeleteOnce I have closed my eyes and looked into the future, I seen myself in college balancing a lot of honors course work and doing a lof of college social activities. I am very popular in college and is known very well throughout the campus. I am even on the dean list. I am very successful in college both in acadmics and even in sports. In the summer, I have been doing interships at various different programs. The companies are even offering my a career for once I graduate, which will be a pretty-good high paying job.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to mind when I close my eyes is myself, along with every other senior in this school, at our graduation throwing the little fancy hats up in the air. I didn't take me long to picture this in my head because it is something I am looking forward to and cannot wait any longer. I guess this says that I am anxious for all of it to be over, and for me to move onto the next step in life. Humans probably think of what their goals are and see themselves achieving their goals in the future. It is a way to motivate oneself to meet our goals. I believe most people are different but, yet alike because we all have something to look forward to, but then it always isn't the same.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think about about the future, I always see something nice and peaceful.The one thing that always comes to mind is the little package that you put into a microwave and it instantly turns into a full meal. I guess that im more interested in the future of meal processing. Im sure that other people see the future the same way.
